Is the core capture engine really free?

Yes. Skills Trace is fully self-hostable. Deploy the detection engine and emitters within your own infrastructure with complete control over your data.
What's the difference between emitters?
JSONL writes to local files with zero dependencies. SQLite provides an embedded database with WAL mode. HTTP sends batched events to remote endpoints. PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB offer production-grade storage. OpenTelemetry and Prometheus integrate with your existing observability stack.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing is available for Pro and Enterprise plans with two months free, bringing the effective Pro price to $40.83/month.
What about data privacy?
Skills Trace performs read-only prompt inspection. It never modifies, blocks, or stores prompt content. Only skill identity metadata is emitted to your chosen telemetry destination.
